From Ben: I admire any artist that dwells on forgotten areas of the everyday, exploring and highlighting humdrum objects in a new way. Steven Shore is probably my biggest influence for his magical way of transforming banality and his use of colour. From Tuscany to Peckham, Cavalli to concrete, I enjoy photographing people and places from all walks of life whatever story they have to tell. I initially wanted to be an architect when I was young but I slowly realised that it's the geometry, shapes and lines of buildings that I liked, deciding then to capture this rather than trying to design them. interiors photography was a natural route to follow, with my personal interest in design, architecture and people consistently informing my work for commercial and editorial clients alike.
